Cleaning and Phosphatizing

Highpoint Powder Coating is equipped with a VIPIR cleaning station. This is a high pressure washer using a degreasing/phosphatizing chemical that cleans and preps metal for powder coating. The degreasing chemical cleans oils, grease and other contaminates from the metal surface. The iron phosphate etches the metal and creates a surface that the powder coating will adhere and bond to. The cleaning station is an excellent way to clean and prep aluminum and new steel for powder coating.
